Technology over the past 100 years has brought humanity to new heights and new lows. We seldom consider how far we have come - and we are deeply perplexed by how far we will go. It is difficult to know when humanity is near a systemic shift - did we know the benefits and the dangers before the onset of electricity? What about combustion? Or nuclear fusion?

No one anticipated the changes the internet would bring. Certain advancements have seemingly betrayed us - a promise of connection has potentially made us more lonely than before.

So we ask the question now about Ai? Where are we going? Perhaps aspects of our autonomy are on the line? Or maybe we will have more freedom than ever before.
